Because I'm fascinated by both history and clothing, it seemed like the perfect name for this site. I also chose it though because it's a great sounding word... Unfortunately for any horse-lovers, I'm using the first definition- horses are cool, but this blog is mostly about sewing, rather than all things equestrian.

I'll probably be posting lots of things I sew here, both modern patterns (and things I draft myself) along with some historical garments as well (because if you didn't guess from the quote at the top, I'm a bit obsessed with history). Probably some random things I've found will make it into the list as well.

Updates will probably be sporadic over the fall and winter most years, as I'm currently in uni. Do check back though, as I will always be striving to post more things!
